strawberries + pecans + spinach

I'm starting to eat healthy. I'm sticking to fruit, veggies, and meats, or the Paleo Diet.  Tonight I made a strawberry pecan salad with a yummy dressing! It takes about seven minutes to put it together!

It was a yummy, light dinner for my brother and I. It was a winner the time I tried it for a party! The dressing is to die for!

It's been almost a year of craziness. I just graduated and am soon off to college in August! I'm back now that I have my new Macbook Pro and more time on my hands!

Let's try to catch up.

I did some modeling in September with the Lady & the Rock.

 I was Minnie Mouse and Matt (my boyfriend then, friend now) was Mickey!

I went on a Pioneer Trek with my church for a weekend. My mom had to drag me there but it turned out to be one of the best experiences. Below, I'm pictured with my "family." 

Matt asked me to prom on Valentine's via a Starbucks hot chocolate. He works there..I love the free drinks! :)

Went to DisneyWorld in March and competed with my Show Choir. We..lost, but had SO much fun in the parks for a few days!

I went to Utah and California for Spring Break. Below is on the road trip from Utah to California.

I was accepted to FIT! Such a dream come true despite the whopping $30,000 I would have to pay due to out-of-state tuition!

Last, but certainly not least, I was accepted to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah! And I auditioned and made their performing group, the Young Ambassadors! My parents were in it in the 80s so it was a special treat for them that I made it in. I'm really excited!

It's been such an awesome year. I've learned, I've grown, and can't wait for all the awesome things to come!

This week, I'll be a junior counselor at Girls State!

This summer, I hope to road trip back to DisneyWorld, have a blast, and workout! :)

I've worn this dress so many times but never had my camera with me to snap a shot. I've gotten so many compliments! I absolutely love maxis because you don't have to shave your legs and they are super comfy. They can be dressy or chill.

Tomorrow, I'm off to California on an entirely new adventure. The last two weeks in Utah have been tons of fun. I spent time with my brothers and sisters-in-law and just chilled out. I don't even want to leave! But I am excited to go to LA/Newport Beach. If you have any places to recommend, let me know!

Christmas in June.

Went to Island Park, Idaho with my family this past weekend and it snowed! Don't you just love the cheesiness in my pictures? It was so pretty there.

Then yesterday we went and helped my brother and his wife pack up their apartment to move to Tennessee.

And then we went with some friends out on the boat for hours. It was spectacular.

An update on some of my modeling over the past few months. They've been fun experiences! I love the people I've worked with.

So, yay it's summer! The first week of it I went to Girls State, which is where two junior girls from each high school are picked because of leadership or academics. It was at Lipscomb University and was such a blast. I made so many friends there! 

I won this award because they didn't really know I modeled (pretty ironic).

The editor of Justine Magazine directed Girls State and I asked her if I could be a fashion intern and she said, "Yeah, that would be great, I think you should model!" AH! We exchanged contact info. That is so cool!

Now I'm in Utah for some of my family's birthdays, my dad's wedding and just to have some fun. Then off to the big stuff in California!
